The Elder Abuse Helpline is funded by the Queensland Department of Communities, Disability Services and Seniors to provide information, support and referrals to older people and those who witness or suspect that an older person is experiencing abuse or neglect. Information collected during calls to the Helpline is entered into a database and analysed on an annual basis. The 2019 Year in Review reports on data collected during the 2019-2020 financial year.
