Coronavirus and Family Violence

This resource has information and advice on how the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic impacts those experiencing family violence and their friends and family. If you're at risk of family violence during the current pandemic, being at home may not be the safest place. This information will help you to be aware of the risks, find out how to be safer or get help for you or your children.

If you know someone who might be experiencing family violence, find out what to look out for and how you can provide support. To support family violence professionals during this difficult period, we're working with DV Vic to provide information and resources and answers to frequently asked questions about the incidence of violence during a public health crisis and the pandemic's effects on service delivery in Victoria on The Lookout website.
