In this submission, we emphasise the importance of strengthening and expanding advocacy and legal services in a way that reaches out to these marginalised groups of older people. In providing our submission, we implore the Federal Government to specifically legislate and draft in a way that ensures inclusion of these marginalised groups of older people. It is our primary submission that the application of Human Rights Principles must be recognised and legislated for with respect to Australia’s older people.
